Sze Ho Chun (史可雋)Sze Ho Chun (史可雋), a computer technician, with dyed brown hair with highlights, looked around the courtroom repeatedly as he stood before an Eastern Court magistrate.

He was granted bail set at HK$50,000 and had his travel documents confiscated. He must report back when the court case resumes 22 February.

After the hearing, Sze Ho Chun's lawyer told reporters that police had searched Sze Ho Chun's home twice over the weekend and had seized two computers and one faulty USB memory stick.

Sze Ho Chun was the second person to be charged over the sex photos scandal. 29-year-old Chung Yik Tin (鍾亦天) was remanded in custody for eight weeks after appearing in court on Friday.

Eight people in total have been arrested over the scandal. The other suspects, two women and four men, were bailed for HK$20,000 each and have not yet been charged.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong newspapers have written extensively about Edison's video message, which was released yesterday and provided the first direct spoken comment from any of the stars implicated by the scandal. Sing Tao Daily, a Hong Kong newspaper, ran a headline, quoting netizens, comparing Edison to a turtle withdrawing its head into its shell.

Newspapers are pointing to Edison's video apology and the fact that police said only two parties had filed reports as possible incriminating evidence that the photos are real and not digitally faked. Gillian's and Cecilia's respective representatives last week confirmed that they had reported the images to police, while Edison's representatives said that they had not filed a police report.

eLite Multimedia, a computer shop that was searched by police on Sunday, opened for business as usual yesterday.

Shop staff called the police to complain about press intrusion. Police attended the scene, said that there was nothing wrong with taking the pictures from outside, restored the peace and then left. Staff refused to answer reporters' questions, saying they could not comment because of the ongoing police investigation.

A neighbouring computer shop posted a sign on its window which said in Chinese: "Our shop was not involved in the sex photo scandal". It was unclear whether this was to stop reporters taking photos of the wrong store or whether this was a cheeky jab at its competitor.
